Garbage, Recycles, and Bulk Waste

The Town of Mount Pleasant contracts with Waste Pro for Garbage and Recycling services.  If you have issues with garbage/recycling pick up, please contact Waste Pro Customer Service, 980-255-3800.

Trash is picked up every Friday.  Reyclables are picked up EVERY OTHER Friday and Bulk Waste is picked up opposite of Recyclables.  For detail concerning dates for Recyle and/or Bulk Waste pickup, what will and will not be picked up, and can location tips see the Garbage Guidelines.

Yard Debris

Limb, Leaf, and Brush pick up is one TUESDAY each month per address.  If Public Works is unable to pick up on Tuesday of your week due to water/sewer emergencies, scheduling conflicts, inclement weather, or holidays, it will be by Friday of your assigned week.  Any limbs, leaves, or brush placed after 8am on Tuesday may not be picked up, if the crew has already been on your street for the week.  It would then remain until the following  month.  Residents are no longer required to call to schedule a yard debris pick up.  See attached Yard Debris Guidelines and Schedule for your designated week.
